| Welcome to Lakinsports.com Broncs Lose In Sub State Finals The Lakin Broncs saw their season come to an end Saturday night with a 62-44 loss to Southwestern Heights in the Sub State final. The Broncs jumped out early to a 7 seven point lead and lead after one quarter 11-7. It was all Mustangs after that as they outscored the Broncs 27-4 in the second quarter to take a lead they would not relinquish. Dylan Shalberg led the Broncs with 14 points while Zach Reed, Bryant Miller, and Colby Hamel added 8 points apiece. The loss also was the final game for seniors Zach Reed, Dylan Shalberg, and Evan Holmes. Lakinsports.com wants to thank everyone for listening to Broncs basketball and for all of the support. |
